Dammed if I know... :)

I suppose cleaning up after yourself...

That's just what I've seen at my current job.

You specify each program you want to include. It doesn't get much more
selective than that. I only listed one program for an example. I've
modified the calling program example here to show three programs being
pulled in.

/define PrototypesOnly
/include QRPGLESRC,GDSMBOM1
/include QRPGLESRC,INV050
/include QRPGLESRC,CHKOBJ
/undefine ProtoTypesOnly

Here is an example.

Called program:
/if not defined(PrototypesOnly)
ctl-opt Copyright('(C) Copyright Group Dekko Inc.')
ActGrp(*NEW) ExprOpts(*RESDECPOS) DatFmt(*USA)
OPTION(*SRCSTMT:*NODEBUGIO:*NOUNREF) EXTBININT(*YES)
BndDir('ROUTINES/SRVPGM':'QC2LE');
/endif

dcl-pr GDSMBOM1 extpgm;
INPPart char(15) const;
end-pr;

/if defined(PrototypesOnly)
/eof
/endif

Calling program
/define PrototypesOnly
/include QRPGLESRC,GDSMBOM1
/undefine ProtoTypesOnly

OK, I was envisioning that each prototype (and its related
definitions) could be selectively included by the caller -- rather than
all or nothing as is now the case with the way separate copybooks are
done. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
