The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Hi All,
Although I seem to be the only one reporting this issue from ACS, I finally
figured out the cause and thought I'd post it here in case anyone else
falls foul of the same thing.
ACS was crashing and ending every time I tried "save" or "save-as" after
creating a new session file.
I was able to use the new session file as long as I didn't try to save it.
I tried re-installing ACS and updating java to no avail.
The .log file seemed to be indicating it was something to do with my
Microsoft C++ distribution as I could see the file msvcr100.dll listed:

Anyway, it turned out to my surprise that this issue was caused by me
having enabled Windows 10 God Mode

Deleting the GodMode folder from my desktop, stopped the problem
occurring...
