Hi Charles,
Not sure if this will help, but the "Build" functionality is configurable
to call a command that you specify after uploading.
In the properties of the i Project, there is an "i Project Build" category.
If you select the "Command" style you can specify a command that you could
supply.
Note in RDi 9.6, build now has a keystroke Alt-Shift-B so you don't have to
take your hands of the keyboard while editing.
There is also Ctrl-Alt-R to retrieve the errors from the last build.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Anyway to modify how iProjects pushes code to the
server?
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

All,

Is there anyway to modify how iProjects pushes code to the server?

Reason I'm asking...

I've been playing around with iProjects & SVN...

Actually seemed to work pretty well.

The problem is that we've had our code in SVN for awhile now and we
currently use a little python script to transfer between PC <--> ibm i
source member.

The problem is that we also use Profound, and our python script
"translates" the profound ui screens between the standard DDS source member
and an "merge-friendly" stream file format.

I suspect there's no built in way...but perhaps if I built and RDi plugin I
could override the iProjects push?

Thanks!
Charles
