Hi Ken,

Forgive my ignorance - you said :

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I update the ACS in RDI 9.5.1.2 to the latest ACS...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't realise you could do that? I just tried to download from the (
broken ) site as a separate thing.
Can you please explain?
I'm still on ACS 1.1.7.1 Build 7290

thanks kindly,
Craig

Hi,

I have java version: 1.8.0_152 and ACS version: 1.1.7.2 build id: 7422.
Which I have been running on work PC, and at home since October 25.

Now, I cleaned up all my old ACS, I removed them. And I update the ACS in
RDI 9.5.1.2 to the latest ACS....

I read the documentation, and I merely update the ACS, I did not
Re-install it. I have always done that, because I am lazy and less issues...

Sorry to hear about your issues with iACS, I have had no issues with my
current version of iACS - 1.1.7.1.

Hi Paul,

Yes, I found the same issue with that ACS link, I tried a few different
browsers but kept getting some kind of "too many re-directs" error.

On the subject of ACS, mine now keeps crashing.
I can run ACS and go into the session manager and create a new session
which works fine.
But any attempt to "save" or "save-as" the session file the whole thing
just crashes and ends.
It has worked in the past and I had not updated either java or acs so I
don't know what changed.
I've tried re-downloading ACS ( hence my interest in the new version ) but
that link doesn't work so I can only access the version I already have, but
reinstalling that doesn't help.
I'm have jdk1.8.0_65 installed which works fine for all of my normal
eclipse java programming ) I ran the java auto update thing to get the
latest version of Java8 and that seemed to make things worse, ACS wouldn't
even start up.
So I went back to 1.8.0_65 where at least I can run sessions in ACS just
not save them.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas?
I did copy the log file
from C:\Users\Craig\IBM\ClientSolutions\Start_Programs\Windows_x86-64
and post a report to
http://bugreport.java.com/bugreport/crash.jsp
but I'm not holding my breath waiting for a reply.

Any ideas on how to resolve this gratefully accepted!

Craig

The above link is not working.

My ACS software tells me there is version 1.1.7.2 available.
