OK, I understand now.

For me, after Ctrl-C in tab 1 and Ctrl-V in tab 2, then Ctrl-F in
tab 1 does what you described (as expected) but, for me, Ctrl-F in tab 2
does not. In tab 2, only the "Restrict search to selection" is checked
(which it shouldn't be) but the Find box is not populated with the copied
text.

I am running RDi version: 9.5.1.2.
