You need to do two separate things.

1) Have IM upgrade itself to the latest version. After it updates, it
will prompt you to restart. Go ahead, then after it restarts, close,
and re-open it. (I Run as Administrator).

2) Now that IM is at 8.latest, it can connect to the RDi repo. File >
Preferences > Repositories, pop in the repo and then OK out back to the
main panel where you'll choose Install.
