I'll try it anyway. Right now I'm dead in the water -- the dreaded

p.s. I tried to find a way to rollback to a prior version, or to undo the
update to 9.5.1.2 -- but that doesn't work either.

Stuart,
I sort had similar problems, opened up 3 different programs, and none of
the outline view worked. Just a blank outline, with NOTHING....
And I notice that no special hex characters, loaded by the
fossil-Punch-card-types from last century were NOT display either.
Thankfully, one of the old fossils retired! Yippee!
Re-starting RDI, since it is re-start software got the outline views to
display. I tried click on other views, but that did not force a repaint of
the outline view...
Got tired of messing around, and did the typical solution, created a
brand new work space, and everything is working again!
Thankfully, the import/export function works GREAT! Still missing a few

I remap my shortcut keys, so I had to export/import >General>Preferences.
Which is get my mapped keyboard shortcuts.
I use F3=Find next in EVERYTHING, find next in spool files, find next in
debugger, find next in source, etc...
Other applications like PDF Reader, Notepad++, MS Visual Studio all use
F3 to find next. So, I like to overwrite that keyboard shortcut! And I hate
combination keys, like Shift+F4... <smirk>
PS. Usually isn't worth trying to track it down, create a new workspace
and continue on... <smile>

Subject: [WDSCI-L] No Outline, No Yellow Blobs, No Fun!
Applied the 9.5.1.2 update last night. This morning, no outline, no
yellow blobs, no messages, nothing. Totally blank outline view. Had
outline yesterday.
Open member. "Live parsing (0%)" for a second or two, then goes away.
But no outline.
ctrl-shift-F5, or type something to trigger outline rebuild. The "Live
parsing (0%)" message appears for a few seconds, then "Building workspace
(100%)" flicks by very quickly, then the two message repeat over and over
and never stop until I close the member.
Is there some sort of log I can find that'll clue me in as to why I have
no outline? I've sort of come to depend on content assist and without the
outline, that doesn't work.
