Hi,

This is the way I mark my code....

I filter by date greater than my check-out date, using shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+D (Filter by Date).

Then I record and play back a macro to mark my code. Since I use **Free, I record these key strokes:
1.) End (Got to the end of the line)
2.) type " // C001" whatever my change tag number is....
3.) Down-Arrow & Home key. (To start on the next filter line...)

Then I just repeat for all the lines of my change code! <Big Smile>

If you are still using last century Punch-card format, it still should work!

If you have use the Record/Play back macros, they are AWESOME in RDI, it is VERY FAST!!!

PS. My former co-worker, would use the "Punch-Card" format and filter by Date, and the select the block of filter punch-card Sequence area. (Alt+R) Then select "Selected/FILL" from the right-Click menu. Another quick reliable way to mark your punch-card formatted code!

There may be a better way, but Window --> Preferences, then type 'parsers' (without the tics) gets me pretty close.

In the RDi Preferences, if you navigate to: Remote Systems / Remote
Systems LPEX Editor / IBM i Parsers
there is a setting called "Add signature to changed lines for RPG/400, ILE RPG, and DDS Parsers". This is a handy way to automatically put in mod marks in columns 1-5.
However, we use a different mod mark for each assignment/ticket. So I have set it to put mark my changes with my initials ("!rmd!").
(something that won't normally show up in code). Then, when I'm done with all my changes, I toggle the feature off and do a find/replace-all to put in the mod mark for my current assignment. Bada-boom, Bada-bing!
It works well, but toggling on/off requires searching through Preferences to find that setting every time.

My question is: Does anybody know a way (a keyAction?) to quickly toggle that feature off/on?
