I spent a lot of time with support on this, but they never found anything. I now just accept it as a fact of life.

I have had that happen too in the past.

We had an old program, where an array was called "IF".

That cause the Outline to Barf.

I open an PMR to get it fixed...

RPGLE is sort of unique, as compared to other languages. We do NOT have Reserved words like Java and other languages...

That confuses some of the developers on RDI, because that concept has escaped them. Assuming some of them haven't actually programed in RPGLE. My assumption.

So, if you have a support contract, I suggest your report it, so it can be fixed!

After all, that is why we buy and pay for support! To continually make the RDI package better! My dot-net co-workers had their Visual Studio blow up again! So, they had to reload!

Glad to see I am not the only platform where we are forced to reload software. (last resort)
