Now this is something. After Ken's suggestion I decided to keep working on the code and got the idea to open another RPGILE source member. The Outline view for that member and others is showing. But I am still not able to get this source member to show an outline. I am going to play with the source file members directly i.e. change the member type, copy the member to another member, and anything else I can think of.

Ken --

It didn't work but I will definitely make a note of how to find and clear the cache. Just for good measure I ended RDi and restarted but it didn't work.

Thanks.

George,

Try clearing your cache...

windows>preferences

Filter by "caches"

Clear out the IBM I cache, and then try reloading...

PS. I have to do this if I change a new file or external data-structure that is loaded into the cache. Worth a shot I guess!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Outline View Quit Working

Hello....

This morning, 11/16, I restarted my PC and opened RDi, started working in my current source member and noticed that the Outline View was blank. I have tried refreshing the Outline View. I saved any changes I had already made, closed the member and reloaded it. I have ended and restarted RDi. I disconnected and reconnected my Connections and haven't had any success. I just recently installed RDi so I believe I have the latest version, 9.5.1.0. The member I am working with is an SQLRPGLE type and yesterday the Outline was showing and being updated as I made revisions in the code. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the help.
