OK, never done anything with IBM i Projects before. But I managed to
create one and eventually found the import (looked in File -> Import
first; silly me!).

Anyway, I imported the member from the source file with CCSID 273 and yes,
I still see curly brackets.

Joep,

"Import" means menu option "Import remote source..." of the context
menu of an i Project. First create an i Project, then select "
Import remote source...".
