We have a request/feedback system already in place via our Requests for
Enhancements site:
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRFEs
You need to select:
Brand: Servers and Systems Software
Product family: Programming Languages
Product: Developer for Power Systems
Component: RPG/COBOL Development Tools
Status: All statuses
There is an existing request for the function that you are describing (you
can confirm or create a new one), see:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=38930

For the sorting issue, there is a "Sort by name" icon right beside Outline
tab that allows you to switch between original order and alphabetical
order.

Thanks,

Is there a place RDi design requests/feedback can be given? My
biggest issues with RDi are as follows:

Content Assist (Ctrl-Space) displays for prototypes don't show the
parameter names -- only the data type and length (this makes it difficult
to know what to specify for the parameter and I end up having to go look
at the outline, anyway, which does show the parameter names)
Outline sorts the subfields in a data structure in alphabetical order when
I really need to know the original order of the subfields in that data
structure.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
