Dave,
I believe “field names” are not required for prototypes. They only require data type and length. The field names are for descriptive purposes. That might be why it doesn’t include the field names.

Is there a place RDi design requests/feedback can be given? My
biggest issues with RDi are as follows:
Content Assist (Ctrl-Space) displays for prototypes don't show the
parameter names -- only the data type and length (this makes it difficult
to know what to specify for the parameter and I end up having to go look
at the outline, anyway, which does show the parameter names)
Outline sorts the subfields in a data structure in alphabetical order when
I really need to know the original order of the subfields in that data
structure.
