Does anyone know how to set RDI to make it automatically Trim Trailing spaces on Open? The Trim on Close or Save seems to work, but the Trim on Open does not. I know automatic Trim on Open worked in the WDSC days and now has disappeared. Other than manually entering the TRIM command on an open source member in the RDI Editor, I cannot get my RDI to automatically Trim Trailing Spaces on Open.
Last I received a response from IBM, their answer was to manually enter the TRIM command upon every source member open, which is ridiculous.
Does anyone have a solution?
