Regarding scripting with macros, it is completely true that there is no
macro scripting language for Eclipse / RDi. There /used to be/ one,
called Monkey, but there simply weren't enough Eclipse users interested
and it was archived.

With the idea of a simple macro language out of the way, there is
technically a way to execute commands when a source member is opened:
the Eclipse user profile. If one is comfortable writing a plug-in, one
can create a profile. See Listing 2 here
