Ken,
I have thought about that, I go through a great deal of effort to calculate
data structure sizes, and it is not displayed on the outline view.
I had to create a special properties view to debug it. So you are
suggesting to put it in the outline view perhaps shown as SIZE(nn) after
the data structure name and keywords?

I still have to implement the DIM support (this is a pretty complicated
calculation with stride, alignment etc.)

Please submit this as an RFE.

Jon,

To spot errors, when I pass strings back and forth. I normally am
processing web-service, and sometimes miss something.

Normally, it is rare. Since I might be pass data back to another system,
and I am only allow to pass a limited number of bytes.

I just figure, since I can look at compile listing, that outline view
should show it too...

It is definitely not a "Must-have", just would be nice.

When debugging, I usually define my variables in a data structure for
debugging. Sometime the vendors/third party inadvertly pass me crap...
<LOL> Luckily, it not too often...

Why on earth do you care about the size Ken?

Sadly, does not work on Data-Structures....

Outline view does not show the size of Data-Structure.

Other than that, the REF11062 is working pretty good...

I still have to use the compile listing to see the size of
Data-Structures. That is the only place I can see the size of
Data-Structures. Oh well...

PS. on the Plus side, I was able to close several open PMR due to the
great work done on this latest service pack. My hat goes off to the
outstanding work of the development Team! THANK YOU! <Big Smile>

Thanks to the team for implementing RFE11062. I just noticed it this

spot where it doesn't work.
