Surprise!!!!!

RDI 9.5 has CRASHED YET AGAIN!!!!!!!! Could not make it past 24-hours!

I am still perplexed how RDI "supposedly saves time" and "Increases Programmer Productivity"
<Perplexed Sad Face>

I have to admit that I turned on Update of outline to get the search feature in outline view. But, I basically had NO PROBLEMS with WDSC 6.0 & 7.0, when I did NOT use the OUTLINE View. Maybe, that is what I need to do is STOP USING OUTLINE View, because that seems to BITE ME every @#$!@$#!@#$!@#$ TIME! <Junkware!> :(

I have just tried outline view on wdsc7 on a fairly large source, a
module/service program handling multiple file I/O routines), and
pressing refresh takes 20-30 seconds. (There is no auto-update) pressing
refresh again took 10ish seconds. It took up a reasonable amount of cpu,
(57ish%) but didn't touch the memory size noticeably.

While it doesn't prevent user input, its a "background task" with the
little "doing stuff" graphic on the bottom, after pressing it I tend to
wait for it to finish as I have found that sometimes I get a lock
up/hang when a background task is running (such as building help text
search the first time) and I try to continue working... although if
memory serves me correctly then waiting for it to finish eventually
un-locks it (not had to re-install on my virtual win box for a while -
my base machine is debian).

Also I do have an almost pristine version of win (first win xp, now
win8-UEFI - not sure which win 8 version but a clean install).

I do wonder if there isn't something else causing the issue, AV's can
really muck things up... but I guess unless you try a virgin machine,
and no additional plugins and clean workspace, and see if the problem
still happens with the same regularity it would be hard to know what the
problem is.
