I've tried this function once to save my own setup (we don't currently have a standard setup) but didn't realise it would affect our other developers (yep, typical developer, didn't RTFM!). I had to quickly turn that off. My question, can I save my configuration to the iSeries but not force it on others? This way I can keep my work and home PC configs the same without impacting on anyone else.

I've been using a saved workspace that people copy to start from to pass the configuration along to everyone.
What kind of benefits does Push-To-Client have over that quick-and-easy method that would warrant the time to pursue PTC?

One situation where PTC may prove useful is when migrating to a new version of RDi, (e.g. 9.1 to 9.5). Exporting/importing a configuration may be more effective - and reliable - than migrating the entire workspace. (I have encountered errors when pointing RDi 9.5 at a 9.1 workspace.) When migrating a workspace, there is also the consideration that all the rubbish collected in RemoteSystemsTempFiles subfolders gets migrated as well. Just a thought.
