Hi All,

If you are not playing around with the Push-To-Client stuff, I strongly encourage you to check it out. If you want to have a 'standard' RDi configuration that is quick and easy to deploy then it can really help. It lowers the learning curve for new developers because their configuration is done automatically and set to match the standard you set for your shop.

Here is a quick youtube video describing the basics:

Many/most settings are saved and deployed when a new client connects, including stuff like connection settings, filters, and custom compile commands. Some things are not saved though, so I setup a few RFEs:

Push To Client not saving Key Bindings

Push To Client not saving customization of perspectives

Push To Client - Save/deploy folder/files
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=78910

I also have an open APAR for a bug related to how it saves custom User & Mouse Actions:

If you have any other ideas for enhancing this feature be sure to share and you will get my vote!

David
