Thanks Mark. With your directions I was able to make a shortcut that has the clean option and actually saved and ran.
However, using that option and opening my old workspace, the same error still appears.
Edmund, I watched the entire YouTube and it appears I should have known this on Tuesday before I messed up the workspace. Then I could have saved the configuration.
I see no way presented to now retrieve any filters or connections after I have apparently corrupted it.
If I missed something, please let me know.
Thanks to all,
Dave B

Using RDi V9.1. Can't get more specific right now since I can't start it up.
I may have cancelled in the middle of a debug session yesterday.
My shortcut is "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IBM Software Delivery Platform\IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1"
When I try to start up I get an error:
An error has occurred. See the log file C:\Users\dboettch\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace\.metadata\.log
I have seen some messages in the archives to use a -clean option. So I created a shortcut on my desktop and followed some directions I found in the archives to change the target to include -clean at the end.
Then I get an error that basically says the string in the target box is not valid.
So I tried pasting the target in a DOS box and it says it's not a valid batch file or executable.
What's next?
TIA,
Dave B
