Thanks Mark. With your directions I was able to make a shortcut that has
the clean option and actually saved and ran.
However, using that option and opening my old workspace, the same error
still appears.

Edmund, I watched the entire YouTube and it appears I should have known
this on Tuesday before I messed up the workspace. Then I could have saved
the configuration.
I see no way presented to now retrieve any filters or connections after I
have apparently corrupted it.
If I missed something, please let me know.

The following is what I have in my shortcut for the -clean option, which
works;

"C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP_1\eclipse.exe" -product
com.ibm.rational.developer.ibmi.product.ide -clean

Using RDi V9.1. Can't get more specific right now since I can't start it
up.
I may have cancelled in the middle of a debug session yesterday.

My shortcut is "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IBM
Software Delivery Platform\IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1"

When I try to start up I get an error:
An error has occurred. See the log file C:\Users\dboettch\IBM\rationalsdp
\workspace\.metadata\.log

I have seen some messages in the archives to use a -clean option. So I
created a shortcut on my desktop and followed some directions I found in
the archives to change the target to include -clean at the end.
Then I get an error that basically says the string in the target box is not
valid.

So I tried pasting the target in a DOS box and it says it's not a valid
batch file or executable.

What's next?
