You need to prefix it with dcl-subf - that is designed for use with any subfield that is named for an op-code.
i.e.
DCL-DS CVTPTH QUALIFIED;
GRP CHAR(10);
PRD CHAR(10);
DCL-SUBF REL CHAR(10);
