You need to prefix it with dcl-subf - that is designed for use with any subfield that is named for an op-code.

i.e.

DCL-DS CVTPTH QUALIFIED;

GRP CHAR(10);

PRD CHAR(10);

DCL-SUBF REL CHAR(10);

I have this problem that cropped up. Does this deserve an APAR?

DCL-DS CVTPTH QUALIFIED;

GRP CHAR(10);

PRD CHAR(10);

REL CHAR(10); ****

RNF5023E Factor 2 operand is not specified for this operation.

OBJNAME CHAR(10);

OBJLIB CHAR(10);

SAVNAME CHAR(10);

SAVLIB CHAR(10);

ENV CHAR(10);

COPYDONE CHAR(10);

CPYFOPT1 CHAR(10);

CPYFOPT2 CHAR(10);

RTN_STS CHAR(10);

ACTERRID CHAR(7);

END-DS;

**** item is colorized red and the syntax checker is thinking this
is the REL() op-code

Thanks, Matt
