Cool! I like that trick! DCL-S MySize like(MyDataStructure) & hover to see size.
Normally, I don't often care about the size of the Data Structure. But, I wanted to verify my conversion to Free-Format. And discovered I defined an array the wrong size. And updating code with Movel or move, it is good to know the size.
I also forgot about looking at the compile listing. Since it has been so long since I had to look at the compile list with RDi 9.0.1. That is another back-up method for me... <grin>

Hi,
RDi 9.0.1 has that great hover tip on variables to see sizes and types!
Very Cool!
My problem is once in a while, I need to know the Size of the
Data-Structure. Which RDi does NOT seem to show that...
<frown>
My workaround: create a new stand-alone field with LIKE(<ds-in-question>) and wait a sec for hover to reveal the field size. Only takes a few seconds... no need to leave LPEX.
