Thanks, Jeff! That's the spot I remembered.

Joe,
The proper path is:
preferences->Remote Systems-> Remote Systems -> Remote Systems Lpex Editor
-> IBM i Parsers -> ILE RPG


This will display the ILE RPG Parser preferences on the right.
At the bottom of the display there is the option to "Update the outline
view when text is changed in the editor"

If the check box is blank, you are using the Static Outline.
If it is checked, you are using the "live" Outline.
