To verify you've got a good connection, et al, try 'Verify Connection':
- expand your connection
- right-click 'Objects'
- click on 'Verify Connection...'

It will the communication with the system and verify that all needed PTFs
applied.

A newbie question:

I've just installed RDi 9.0 on my Win 7 PC and connected to our Dev i
machine (7.1)
When trying to open a source Mbr (by double clicking it) I'm getting a
message
"Openning Member Mylib/QRPGLESRC(MyMbr) has encountered a problem. an
internal error has occurred. (Java.leng.NullPointerException)
The same happens with QCLSRC MBRs.

Googling the Err message got me nowhere

Anyone care to advise?
