When you say "DS4 highjacked the help system", do you not see any RDi help if you drill down into the Developing group from the Contents pane. I too have help set up to go to the net. For me, the help dialog box will say "Help - IBM Ration Developer for i" or "Help - IBM Data Studio" depending which link I take from my Start group (i.e., -product com.ibm.rational.developer.ibmi.product.ide or -product com.ibm.datastudio.consolidated.product.ide, respectively). Either way, the help contents are the same.

When I installed DS4, it highjacked the help system. I seem to have lost the RDi help, which I have set to go to the net.

Would it have helped to use a different package group?

Is that kind of thing expected behavior, or is it a surprise to you, as much as it was to me?

I am behind a proxy server, so this has been more than my toleration of interesting!
