Stuart,

I took your suggestion and ran with it. My bottom (status?) bar at the bottom is now my toolbar. I dragged stuff from the bottom bar that I never use up to the toolbar. I then dragged the stuff I do use on the toolbar down to the bottom bar (all on one line). And finally, I turned off the toolbar. I gained 3-4 lines, now up to 78 lines at a time.

Thanks,
Kurt

The only way I could get rid of the Quick Access junk was to disappear the whole toolbar. Been several months now, and frankly I'm far better off without the toolbar at all. I discovered that I only ever used the "compile" button, but rarely, because it was RIGHT NEXT TO the verify button which I never use but sometimes hit by mistake. I find the keyboard shortcuts more ergonomic that the mousey pointy toolbar thing.

Was trying to get rid of the Quick Access Window and get back to a
single tool bar line below the menu.

And right clicking the perspective tab and then Reset does bring
everything back. To defaults. But at least I'm back.

Thanks

I'm guessing you got into Menu Visibility and turned off most of the
options under Window. Hmm - I just tried that in one of my
perspectives that I don't use. It does go away, but when I closed the
perspective and then reopened it, the options came back. Worth a try?

Ummmmmm. I was playing with Window, Customize Perspective and I
seem to have turned off most of the Window menu. Now all I have is
Open Perspective and Show View. I don't even have Preferences any
more. How do I get Customize Perspective and Preferences back?

Further... If I change to the DDS Design Perspective, I have the
Window menu back. But how do I get it back in RSE?
