If the number of lines matter, I can strongly recommend getting a high
resolution monitor which can be turned 90 degrees to portrait mode. This
may double the number of lines you can see on-screen at the same time.
I work with Java which usually has embedded documentation and lots of blocks
so you essentially need a lot of screen estate to see the same amount of
code at once that other programmers can have on a 24 line monitor.
Especially with Eclipse which use a _lot_ of precious screen estate for
itself. I would guess the same goes for RDi.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Configuring RDi 9 look and feel
I got RDi 9 installed and am trying to get it to look as much like RDp 8.5
as possible but have issues/questions. With 8.5 I was able to view 40 lines
of code (Consolas 8). In RDi, I am only getting 36. Part of the lost space
is at the top of the screen and the rest is at the bottom. TOP: Part of the
issue there is probably the Manage Licenses button, which might disappear
when I get the license key installed. Another part of the problem is a white
box that says Quick Access in it. What is that, and can I get rid of it?
There are also more tools on the toolbar than in the previous version, most
of which (but not all) I suspect I will never use. Is there a way to remove
them? Is the bottom line of the screen (where the fastpaths in 8.5 were
located) useable? I can't seem to drag anything into that area. BOTTOM: I
can't pull the bottom section down as far as in 8.5. In 8.5, from the bottom
up, there was the fastpath bar, tabs for different views, and then the
command area. Wit h 9.0 there is a space under the tabs that displays one
line of the contents of the selected view. For example, if the source
prompter view is selected, it says line type. I can't drag the bottom area
down far enough to get rid of the extra line, which cuts down on the
viewable code. Any workaround?
