Re: RDP trial download

Wow! I uninstalled my RDP 8.5, which is utter crap. And I notice that the folder side was still 13.2 Gig in Size! Ouch! My RDP 8.0.3 folder size is only 10.7 gig, and that will the program still fully installed!

I notice a whole bunch of "Dump-Files"/"heap-Dump" out there! Many over 1-Gig in size for a single Dump! And there was also a lot of smaller dumps too!

Oh well IBM doesn't support previous releases, so I delete all of them.

Thanks! My demo on RDI 9.0 ran out about 2-months ago...

I won't be able to use it again until at least 2nd Qtr of 2014.

I have just UNISTALLED that Crappy Release RDP 8.5, it has given me NOTHING but issues every single time I use it! I just felt my blood pressure drop! <Big Grin>

I am sticking to RDP 8.0.3, until my company allows me to upgrade!

So, I had jumped back to RDP 8.5. I am definitely recommending to my
co-workers NOT to download that Release! Sadly, when I tell them
download Rational Developer from the IBM web site, that is release is
the one that pops up! <Big Frown>

Apparently, 8.5 is still available for purchase and support http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdp/ but you can certainly download 9.0 for the 60 day trial at https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdi/
