Ah, I see that button now. Didn't realize it was there - just migrated from WDSCi 7, so this is new to me. CODE doesn't have anything equivalent that I'm aware of. Why doesn't that default to on in this kind of situation?

It works for me. Have you got the "Draw Records Transparent" button depressed? (First icon below the list of records in the DDS designer screen.)
If so then perhaps it is a version issue? I'm using version 9.0.0.1.

Pardon this dumb down example. But it displays properly inside SDA. Inside the DDS Designer the subfile is NOT shown in a window! What is the point of having a Visual Designer, when SDA works. But Ration Developer cannot display window!
