If you want each icon in it5's own little fast view box, you first need to
put them in their own "containing boxes" that I don;t know what to call
them. A group of tabs goes together, so you need a bunch of single window
things each with a view in it, THEN put those where you want them and fast
view that.

Sorry I don't know the lingo for the parts, but I've done this very thing
(before they took away fast view).

In 8.5 the way you do it is to hover over the little row of dots at the
top of the Fast view "box" and then select the side that you want to dock
on. That choice is remembered.

I believe in V9 it is not as obvious - I _think_ you hover over the dots
and then drag. Can't check because I have had to revert to 8.5 while I get
my license sorted.

I think I want my Fast View cake and eat it too. I want Fast Views, but I
want the icons where I want them. I think it's all on the right or all on
the left, and the views open on the side where the icon is located.

Hmm, not using Fast View so . . .

Help suggests the "fast view" bar "may be docked on any side of
the workbench"

Just guessing, something is not getting saved when you close RDP
or your local
environment is corrupt ?

I do that, and change it back to a Fast View, but the next time it's
activated, it's on the left. I want it to stay on the right. IOW, I
want a
Fast View to appear on the right instead of left.

A co-worker asked me how to change the error list (fast view) to show
up on the right side rather than the left. I couldn't figure it out.
How do you do it? Thanks!
