True, RDi makes more sense, but I don't know if it goes "back" to making sense, rather it's starting to make sense. As David mentioned, the previous RDi was for Rational Developer for System i, which is again the hardware and not the O/S.

I will like searching online for RDi vs RDP b/c if my search isn't specific enough I end up getting Remote Desktop search results.

Concur!

At least RDi makes more sense, see it is for the software, it is designed to write code for the IBM i, not the Hardware like "Power System".

So, it goes back to RDI (IBM I Software) instead of RDP (Power system, a.k.a. hardware) <grin>
