I am on RDP 8.5.1 and mostly love it. I feel that 8.5.1 has better
performance the 8.0.3. I am editing programs of the type RPGLE, SQLRPGLE,
RPG (audible groan) , CLLE, CL, PF, LF, DSPF, PRTF, and CBLLE (another
audible groan), CBL (extreme audible groan).
Live outline is pretty darn good in RPGLE and SQLRPGLE, but has some
glitches.
Annoyances:
When searching for indicator and field usage I do not solely rely on the
outline, I will also do manual searches within the source member.
There are issues with the outline sorting my parameter lists and key lists
when I would rather it did not.
There are issues when in debug and hovering over variables will not show
the values.
But these are annoyances that I can live with.
As an aside, I have a project upcoming where I will be using SEU primarily
and I shudder just a little thinking about it.
