The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

My biggest complaint is that I no longer see the field value when I hover
over the field name in debug. I have to "monitor" the field in order to see
the value.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] List of known problems in 8.5
I am having a number of problems with 8.5 and am looking to open some error
reports but don't want to waste effort (on IBM's and my part) reporting
known problems. Is there a list anywhere of problems that have already been
reported?
Among others I'm seeing (or not as the case may be):
1) Items defined in /COPY members not showing up in Outline or in text
completion. In some cases if they are used they show up - but not always.
For instance in one program templates from the RPG OA copy member show up,
but prototypes from another copy member do not do not even when the
procedures are referenced.
2) Text completion does not work at all 25% of the time and in particular
not for qualified names with more than one level of qualification. I have
tried auto refresh and manual refresh of outline - no difference.
3) Severe slow-down. At times can I wait two minutes or more for a single
character to appear on the screen. The "garbage can" option for memory clean
up seems to help when this symptom first appears but once memory usage gets
above 1Gb it is a lost cause and only a restart helps. I am running nothing
but RDP in a 2Gb VM on a Mac that 8.0 used to scream on.
4) Help takes forever to launch and seems to get less precise (and therefore
less useful) with each release. In the "good old days" I used to boast to
customers about how accurately it positioned in the help text - these days
in /Free the best I can hope to get is a list of op-codes. Even if you
highlight the op-code it makes no difference. Position on or highlight /Copy
(for example) and you just get the "Full Line" page with a list list of spec
types. In D-specs - position on a keyword and you just get the list of
possible keywords. WHile I still love having the manual available the
utility is way less than it used to be.
There are others but these are the ones annoying me on a daily basis.
