Michael,

Yup, clearing out the break points fixes it...

But, quite often it is really nice that RDP can remember the break-points.

Not a big deal for me. But, glad to see other know about this too...

Ken,

Here's another work around: you can clear the breakpoints in the Breakpoints view. This view is usually shown in the top right corner of the debug perspective. (You should also be able to access it by pressing
Alt+Shift+Q followed by a B. And a third alternative would be to click
Alt+Shift+on
Window, then Show View, then Breakpoints.) Once there, you can do any breakpoint management you need.

If I run into the same error, I'll open a PMR--or I guess it's called a Service Request (SR) now. So far, I've not had the problem. (Emphasis on 'so far'.)

Re: [WDSCI-L] RDP 8.5.1 debug problem: Break point icons not showing...

Hi,

Now this is a problem that has existed for a long time...

I like to use the LPEX editor for my debug editor. Which I can use the
power of LPEX, such as color syntax and find functions. So, I can edit
my code, when I find errors! Very Cool!!!!!
<Big Smile>

Problem is when restarting debug, it stops at old break points, but
does NOT show the "DOT" for the break-point....

If I right-click, to show the "*LISTING", I then see the break points.
But, the break points do NOT show up in Debug using the
LPEXeditor...

It seems to me that this is a "Re-Paint" error of some sort....

I end up toggling to *LIST view, to remove the break points, that I no
longer need...

This is NOT a biggie, nor a show stopper. But, just though I would
mention it on this forum. In case others have ran into the same
problem...
