I have experienced the "code select/highlight" issue in two ways:
1) when I experimented with Preferences / LPEX Editor / Block / rectangle
last time I tried I changed back with the thought that while
"rectangle" is sometimes useful, I had lost interest due to the
highlight issue - but maybe that was a co-incidence and a bad
assumption on my part
2) when some kind of source error exists, possibly one where the source
compiles but RDP has an inconsistency between maybe an rpgle member
and a display file member that is part of the project....
So, you might try this from RDP:
1) Source / Verify (Prompt)... / Cache / check the Refresh cache box in the right pane
2) review your Error List and correct any errors
Hope this helps

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Mouse movement randomly highlighting editing area
I'm using RDi, and when in the RSE editor, at times when I happen to move the mouse, sections of the code are highlighted, to which I immediately have to perform an Alt-U to undo that highlighting. I'm not sure what setting if any triggers this, but it seems to be very sensitive to mouse movements and randomness. Sometimes it's a small chunk of code, other times much bigger chunks of code, and other times simply one space of code.
I first thought it would be in the lpex editor but most of my settings are to use the defaults.
Anyone else experiencing this? And do you know of a remedy?
