Doug ended up assisting me some over the phone. If I remember right
(it's been a year and I didn't keep a log for this), I did a complete
uninstall of RDP, AND the plugin, and reinstalled RDP into its own
directory outside of C:\Program Files, and then redownloaded/reinstalled
the plugin. If Doug remembers differently, maybe he can chime in (if he
still follows this list).
Everything has been working since, including since I upgraded to 8.03.
