Odd. I do this all the time, several times a week, and always works fine.
I have not yet applied 8.0.0.2, but am planning to do so Monday. I'll try
this first thing, at least you'll know whether its widespread or something
with your installation.

Jeff,
I would find and delete the backup of the member in the workspace.
Not sure about rdp but in wdsc 7 there is a remotesystemtemp
directory. The old source member will be listed somewhere under your
connection. It probably stills has a RPGLE member type. If you
delete the RPGLE member, you should be fine once you reopen the
SQLRPGLE member.

All appeared to be fine until I attempted to open the source member under

I received the following error: Operation failed. File system input or

I have just installed service pack 8.0.0.2.

If I rename the member and add the new name to my filter, I can open it
with no
problem.

All suggestions appreciated.
