It's amazing how hard it is to stop using PDM and move to this new
environment.

I'm still using WDSc7, but I have to encourage you to stick with it.
Once you get over the initial learning curve, which you'll encounter
with any new IDE, you'll be amazed how much more productive the new
environment is. You won't go back. I still use PDM once in a while for a
fast and dirty, like a minor CL patch, but that's about it. No contest.
It's also a great leg up on getting into another language like Java or
PHP. I use Eclipse for that, but it's so similar to WDSc, that it's a
slam dunk. Decent HTML editor these days too.
