In RDP 8 I have two connections, one is local (7.1), the other is remote
(6.1).

In the local connection I do the following:
- Run a command to set the library list;
- Edit and save a source member;
- Compile the source member;
and everything is fine.

If I do the same in the remote connection I can find no trace whatsoever
of the compile. No spool file, no entry in the job queue (user profile
uses job description QGPL/QDFTJOBD, which points to job queue QGPL/QBATCH
which is active), nothing in the system log.

Extra information:
- After I save the member and select 'Compile' (in the remote session),
both options (CRTBNDRPG and CRTRPGMOD) are greyed out. If I hit <escape>
and select 'Compile' again, both options are black and selectable.
- Command log in the local session reports:
- Environment variable added ('ILE_DEBUGGER_1')
- SBMJOB CMD(CRTBNDRPG .....)
- Job xxx submitted
- CRTBNDRPG PGM(.....)
- Program xxx placed in library yyy
- Command log in the remote session reports:
- Environment variable added ('ILE_DEBUGGER_1')
- SBMJOB CMD(CRTBNDRPG .....)

On examination of the joblogs of the servicing jobs (QZRCSRVS) I see
several messages CPF5C61 - Client request - run program xxx. In the remote
system the last three messages are:
- Client request - run program QSYS/QUSCRTUS.
- Ownership object IDE1012 type *USRSPC in QTEMP changed.
- Client request - run program QSYS/QVDEOBJL.
and then it stops. In the local system the user space is called IDE1024;
after QVDEOBJL it goes on with program QSYS/QSYRUSRI, program
QSYS/QWCRSVAL and then command SBMJOB.

Anyone have any idea?
