Hi David

I think you might overstate the problems when you say "the alternative is not yet ready". There are very many of us, including myself, that find RDp to be completely adequate and reliable enough, anyhow. Admittedly, I'm not working in French.

I also don't think they are removing support for PDM/SEU, the statement has been, they are not adding new features to SEU. Any bugs there should get fixed, I believe. Now I'm not with IBM, but they're usually pretty careful about this stuff. I often go to SEU still for quick tests and changes. People that never used SEU might not ever realize there is an alternative.

Anyhow, Joyeux Noel!

There is a setting for getting a log in preferences - go to
preferences and enter log in the "filter" box at the top.
Turn on everything, then try the action that locks things up.
Then go back and turn off the extra logging - it can take a
lot of disk if you don't.
Thanks Vern, I'll try that tomorrow.

Then try to contact IBM support about this - there might be a
link on the web site for the product, I haven't looked.
They must be aware that bugs are all over the place. It should be easier for a developer to report this kind of thing.

I believe you have had good responses from their team before
here, regarding issues around international characters. Give
them a chance, they are really working hard on these tools
and have done a great job so far.
I agree wholeheartedly. But I don't like reading about support being taken away from PDM/SEU when the alternative is not yet ready. This is certainly nothing to do with the RDP development team.

There are always bugs in
every software we write - even yours!!!
Vern, how dare you say that!
