It is possible to make the flyover contain links and be clickable. But it
sounds like this would not be the best. Because the usage I am seeing
here, is that you are using this to navigate to all of the uses of this
variable from the outline view. So having a flyover that would disappear
once you clicked on one of the uses, would not be as useful as having a
view that sticks around so that you can click on the other uses of the same
variable.
So I am giving up on the hover and deciding that a "find in outline view"
would be much more useful.
That is what I am going to document in enhancement 8939,
Proposed Solution:
When right clicking in Lpex, show an action in the context menu "Find in
outline view". Selecting this action will attempt to find a node in the
outline view that contains the token at the cursor.
