I see it all the time in 7.6.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Opening RPG source gives trailing blanks

I don't see it in 7.6, Kurt; newly read source members come in trimmed.

I haven't tried 8.0 yet.

Joe

I'm back to RDp 8.0 trial (with a new computer) while I wait for the
license key.

When I open an RPG source member (via a filter, if that matters), the
source opens with trailing blanks. Is there any way to stop this from
happening? It removes the ability for me to press End and go to the end
of a line. What I need to do to get around this is to make a change to
the source (such as replacing a space with a space) and then save the
source (which is set to trim all trailing blanks).

The downside to the work-around is that we currently compile our
programs as *SOURCE, and if the source changes, you get that message in
debug which inspires a lack of confidence in using that source to debug
with.

I don't recall this happening in WDSCi 7.
This did happen in RDp 7.6 (trial).
