Did you try the source tab? It's basically the LPEX editor although a little easier to navigate (you can use the outline to move through the source).

Actions on multiple objects isn't implemented. In general that part of the tool (accessing multiple objects) seems like it's not entirely thought through.

I couldn't recreate the source lock today, but it happens occasionally, and not necessarily just in the Screen Designer. Close your connection and it goes away. If not, go into Jobs under the connection, open "My DDM server jobs". Cancel the QRWTSRVR there.

First go at screen designer

Needed to fusion information from 2 record formats to make a new one.
Can't seem to copy one format to a new one as in SDA
Can select multiple fields but can't delete them all as in SDA

Left screen designer for SDA

Can't use SDA as QRWTSRVR has not let go of the source. ENDJOB needed. (Just need to find the right job to end).

Had enough.
Going home now
Sticking to LPEX and RSE from now on.
