The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I'm still having problems getting RDP 7.6 working with Win7 X64.
FWIW: I've got RDI 7.5 & RDP 7.6 running 'adequately' on my Win7 X64 system now ... I've got the shortcut configured to 'run as administrator' (as a few folks have suggested).
I don't _like_ the solution, but it will have to suffice for now.
The thing that sticks in my craw is the fact that the workaround is necessary at all. Since the application runs with administrator authority, it SHOULD at least launch with regular user credentials. I wonder if it has something to do with RDI & RDP trying to update the install location?
I'm still getting 'side by side' errors on RDI 7.5 ... which has caused me problems adding some features to RDI 7.5.
'Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\SDP_1\jdk\jre\bin\unpack200.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\SDP_1\jdk\jre\bin\unpack200.exe" on line 6. The value "6.0.0.6u9b39" of attribute "version" in element "assemblyIdentity" is invalid.'
I suspect the JVM update that came with RDI 7.5.0.5 caused the problem ... but I'm not sure. I might try and swap in a Sun JRE or the JRE that comes with RDP 7.6.
Thanks for all the advice!
