Shouldn't you be asking your network support guys?

Are you using a version of Client Access that is supported with
Windows7? 32-bit, or 64-bit?

Are you using a Windows7 compliant version of Kaspersky? Have you
checked their support site for FAQs and knowledge base documents? Does
Kaspersky add a firewall that needs to be configured to allow
connections for WDSC?

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Websphere + Kaspersky anti-virus + Windows 7

I'm wondering if anyone else has this combination of software? Websphere
(7.0) + Kaspersky anti-virus + Windows 7.

When I get Kaspersky installed, I can no longer connect to my iSeries
with
Websphere (uninstall and it works fine again). So I know the cause is
Kaspersky, but I'm not sure what setting needs to change. We've tried
adding Websphere to the trusted list, opened the ports used by Websphere
up
but it still won't let me connect. Finally, we are only noticing this
when
Windows 7 is in the mix. Windows XP machines with Kaspersky connect
fine.

Ideas?

Thanks
