Question
Is Microsoft Windows 7 supported on IBM WebSphere Development Studio 
Client, IBM Rational Developer for i or IBM Rational Developer for Power 
Systems Software? 
Answer
The IBM Software Support Lifecycle Policies states WebSphere Development 
Studio Client 7.0 will reach its end of support at the end of April 2010, 
so Microsoft Windows 7 will not be supported.

There are no plans to support Microsoft Windows 7 on Rational Developer 
for i version 7.5

Microsoft Windows 7 is supported with Rational Developer for Power Systems 
Software 7.6.


Please note that Windows 7 may work with IBM Rational Developer for i 7.5 
or IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client 7.0, but it is not officially 
supported. If you experience a problem with either of these products with 
Windows 7, we would recommend upgrading to IBM Rational Developer for 
Power Systems Software 7.6.
