I see this in RDP 7.6...on mine Enable Keepalive is checked, and has values of 3600000 for Socket Read Timeout, and 60000 for Keepalive Response Timeout, both in milliseconds. Above it is Connection Timeout (10000 ms), and Show Mismatched Server Warning is checked.

Hope this info helps...

It kind of funny, I was snooping around my preferences and I found a
preference named "Keeepalive" in the Remote Systems -> DataStore
section. Mine is checked and I run RDi 7.5.

Anything like this in RDp 7.6?

Thanks, Matt

It seems I spoke too soon. The problem went away for a couple of hours
and then came back. It does appear to be mostly a 7.6 issue as 7.5
does not show the same symptoms. Have reapplied this PFT and nothing
changes.

We do now know that the problem relates to orphaned jobs that are left
"lying around" as a result of communication breaks and/or TCP/IP
timeouts. See my post the other week for my (and others) wish list
item for a keep-alive that would stop the jobs from dropping. The work
around suggested by one user on the list does not work for me.

I cannot open a PMR - I have no customer number - but when I am back
in Toronto next week I will get in touch with you and set you up so
you can "play" on the system in question.

Jon,

Please open a PMR so that we can look more into it. Thanks.
