The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Sorry if I'm being dense here, but I'm frustrated that I cannot find any

I have no problem with qualitatively stating it, I just can't put an X
factor on it. I know using the Search feature with the context and the
point-and-click opening of source is much more effective than the PDM
version of the same technique. The problem is that sometimes it's a
little better and sometimes it's a *whole lot* better. And once in a
while it's a little slower. And you can pretty much say the same thing
for the tool overall.
It really depends on what you do. For example, if you spend a lot of
time writing complex CLs with lots of old-fashioned code, the GUI tools
won't do you nearly as much good as if you wrote modern code free-format
RPG with qualified data structures.
I wish I had a better answer, Eric, but in many ways the only answer is,
"it depends." I'll try to get you better information when I do my
display files from scratch, probably this weekend.
